Installation Guide for BMW F80 M3 or M4 F82 Exhaust Systems

Unleashing your BMW’s raw potential through better exhaust is easier to do when you choose our precision-tuned components. We utilize state-of-the-art CNC processes to ensure a flawless fit without the need for costly modifications or complex installation procedures. 

Replacing your exhaust system is accomplished by: 

• Gathering necessary tools and lifting the vehicle to access the undercarriage

• Removing the stock exhaust system. Remove clamps, tips, and other components attached to the exhaust hangers. Be sure to support detached components with a jack stand to prevent components from falling out or damaging neighboring components before you’re ready to remove the old system. 

• Preparing to mount the new system. Inspect the hangers for damage and clean all mounting points to ensure that the new system will be installed correctly. Loosely arrange the new parts near the vehicle and ensure that you aren’t missing any components before beginning the installation phase.

• Installing the new exhaust system. Align and place the mid-pipe onto the hangers and secure with the clamps. Next, slide the rear components onto the mid-pipe and secure using the various mounts. Before final tightening to the specified torque setting, be sure that all components are accurately aligned for gap-free performance. Complete the installation by double-checking that all clamps and securement components are properly tightened. 

• Start the vehicle, allow the system to calibrate with your ECU, and listen for leaks at all connecting junctures. If everything looks and sounds right, lower the vehicle and verify adequate ground clearance. 

• That’s it. You’re ready to enjoy your BMW’s new power and sound!
