We’re drawn to Porsche’s performance cars because of their track record (literally) of exceptional engineering and performance, but even so they are prone to production shortcomings that we aim to address when possible. For their GT3 models of the 997 and 991 generations, we saw an alarming trend of center mufflers failing rather severely, sometimes without any additional modifications. As a company that holds great interest in driving these cars hard, as do our customers, we knew it was an opportunity to show our expertise and give drivers the peace of mind that their center muffler will not be a failure point, whether they have upgraded headers or no other upgrades at all. In a high-paced track environment, any precaution we can take to ensure longevity and safety is of the most importance.
SOUND: We offer our muffler replacement in two distinct variations, one that amplifies that naturally-aspirated flat-six and another that reduces overall volume if you frequent tracks that employ strict sound limits.
BOLT ON AND GO: Our GT3 Center Muffler fits right in place of the factory unit, uses thicker gauge stainless steel, and provides a more durable solution for your GT3. Every component is rigorously quality-checked, tested in a fixture to guarantee fitment, and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Four AccuSeal clamps are included for installation.
LIFETIME WARRANTY: Replacing your failure-prone factory muffler with another stock unit could prove to be a much costlier exercise.
